37 killed, 16 missing in Israeli aggression on Beirut Southern Suburb
The Lebanese Ministry of Health has reported that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Southern Suburb of Beirut has risen to 37, with women and children among the victims.
The number of casualties from the Israeli aggression on the Southern Suburb of Beirut has risen to 37, including children and women, announced the Public Health Emergency Operations Center, affiliated with the Lebanese Ministry of Health, on Saturday.
In a statement, the Operations Center noted that "this toll is still subject to increase as rescue operations and debris removal continue," with many still reported missing.
Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen's correspondent added that "there are still 16 people missing in the building targeted by Israeli planes yesterday in the southern suburbs of Beirut."
He added that the Ghobeiri area in the Southern Suburb of Beirut is preparing for the funeral of several martyrs from the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon.
'Israel committed a true massacre': Hamieh
Earlier today, Lebanese Minister of Public Works Ali Hamieh, during his visit to the site of the Israeli aggression, stated that "Israel has committed a true massacre through its aggression on the area," adding that "the occupation is dragging the region into a full-blown war."
For his part, Lebanese Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi confirmed that the recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon compelled the country to intensify its intelligence and field efforts.
He said, at a press conference following an extraordinary meeting of the Central Security Council in Lebanon, "We discussed the investigations related to the explosions that targeted Lebanon and emphasized the need to monitor camera movements and the actions of security agencies."
Mawlawi added that the Central Internal Security Council will remain in open session to continue investigations and monitor developments.
In the early hours of Saturday, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah - honored a group of its fighters as martyrs "on the path to al-Quds," following the Israeli aggression that targeted a residential building in the southern suburbs of Beirut yesterday, resulting in dozens of civilian martyrs and injuries, including the prominent Hezbollah leader Ibrahim Aqil and commander Ahmad Mahmoud Wehbe.

Day 351 of genocide in Gaza: 41,391 martyrs, 95,760 injuries
Martyrs are being recovered from multiple areas across the Gaza Strip due to the relentless Israeli bombardments.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that 50 martyrs have been killed in the past few hours due to Israeli bombings and raids on the Gaza Strip, as the genocidal war enters its 351st day.
Ambulance crews recovered the bodies of four martyrs and treated numerous injured following an Israeli missile attack that targeted a group of people gathered in front of the al-Najjar family's home in the al-Nuseirat camp early Saturday morning.
The correspondent also reported injuries from gunfire fired by occupation aircraft in the same camp, situated in the center of the Strip.
In Khan Younis, our correspondent reported the deaths of two martyrs following an Israeli bombardment that targeted a tent sheltering displaced individuals in the Sheikh Nasser area of the city, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli artillery shelling also struck homes in the al-Janina neighborhood east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, as well as residences in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood south of Gaza City.
According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, Israeli gunboats fired several shells toward Beit Lahia beach, located in the northern Gaza Strip.
Day 351: 41,391 martyrs and 95,760 injuries
In an initial report, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that five workers from the Ministry of Health have been killed and others injured due to the targeting of ministry warehouses in the al-Musbah area, south of the Gaza Strip.
Ambulance teams were unable to reach the site to recover the martyrs and assist the wounded.
According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the Israeli occupation committed 12 massacres against families in Gaza, resulting in 119 martyrs and 209 injuries reaching hospitals in the last 72 hours.
The toll of the Israeli genocide has now risen to 41,391 martyrs and 95,760 injuries since October 7.

Yemen has advanced arsenal, unmatched by many states: Sayyed al-Houthi
In a speech on the 10th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution, Ansar Allah's leader says the US is the primary side affected by this achievement, considering its imperial ambitions to dominate the country.
The success of the September 21 Revolution is a genuine accomplishment for the Yemeni people in every sense of the word, indicated Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of the Ansar Allah movement, on the 10th anniversary of the achievement, extending his congratulations to the Yemeni people.
In a speech on the occasion, Sayyed al-Houthi asserted that the Revolution was a decision driven solely by the will of the Yemeni people, adding that every action and stance taken within the framework of this Revolution was purely Yemeni, away from any external influence or interference.
He highlighted that over the past 10 years, and despite the obstacles, the Yemeni people have preserved this achievement, confronting and overcoming numerous challenges, while achieving major accomplishments.
"Our dear people achieved a monumental goal through the September 21 Revolution; freedom and independence," the Yemeni leader stressed, adding that the forces opposed to the Revolution, spearheaded by the United States and "Israel", are the biggest losers, as they have lost direct control over the country.
"The US is the primary side affected by this Revolution, considering its imperial ambitions to dominate the country and exploit its resources," Sayyed al-Houthi pointed out.
He accused the US, "Israel", and their allies of waging a "comprehensive aggression" against Yemen for all these past years, with the perpetrators committing the "most heinous crimes" and imposing a complete blockade on the Yemeni people.
Through this aggression, the US has sought to reclaim control of Yemen using its agents, adding that the aggressors had no other objective but to occupy and control the country while stripping its people of their freedom and independence, the Ansar Allah leader indicated.
However, according to Sayyed al-Houthi, the enemies have failed to reclaim control over the nation, as the Yemeni people have consecrated this achievement and its strategic depth.
He underlined that the September 21 Revolution remains firmly rooted, regardless of the size of the conspiracies, wars, and targeting it has faced, affirming that every action taken by the enemies against the Revolution has failed.
Before the Revolution, the US ambassador in Yemen had the greatest influence in all official institutions, serving as the primary decision-maker, and when he finally lost control, he fled the country, along with the Marines stationed in Sanaa, the Ansar Allah leader recalled.
"Our people are not subject to the will of the US, "Israel", or their agents, and enjoy freedom, independence, dignity, and honor," Sayyed al-Houthi made it clear.
On supporting the Palestinian people
In the same context, Sayyed al-Houthi said that the Yemeni people's stance remains unwavering and resolute, standing in strong solidarity with the Palestinian people despite all the challenges, risks, and conspiracies.
He explained that despite the horrific crimes and severe blockade imposed by the coalition of aggression, the Yemeni people have never wavered in their commitment to the Palestinian cause, highlighting that the weekly million-man gatherings continue almost without interruption.
He confirmed that the weekly mass demonstrations will also persist, along with the ongoing activities marking the 10th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution.
The Yemeni people have not abandoned their stance on Palestine, nor have they been affected by economic or humanitarian pressures, he said, adding that the declared and aggressive war against them was launched in support of "Israel".
Unlike others, the Yemeni people have not stood idly by while "Israel" commits genocide against the Palestinian people, Sayyed al-Houthi indicated, noting that had US control over the country continued, normalization with "Israel" would have become the dominant official policy.
According to the Yemeni leader, nearly half a million trainees are currently engaged in the mobilization training program, with hundreds of thousands more having previously received military training as part of the organized forces.
Sayyed al-Houthi highlighted that last week's missile attackᅠon occupied Yafa was a major and impactful operation that shook "Israel" to the core. He said that the missile strike penetrated all of "Israel’s" defense systems, marking a major achievement in line with the requirements of the fifth phase of the Yemeni operations in support of Gaza.
The Ansar Allah leader vowed that such attacks will be repeated and continuous, and "we aim, as we said, for what is greater."
Elsewhere, regarding the recent downing of the American MQ-9 reconnaissance drone, Sayyed al-Houthi described the operation as a major achievement in the context of the confrontation with the enemies.
Yemen possesses highly advanced arsenal
Touching on Yemen's military capabilities, the Yemeni leader emphasized that the country possesses a highly advanced arsenal, unmatched by many nations, with its missile capabilities being a key symbol of this development and effectiveness.
According to Sayyed al-Houthi, Yemen is at an advanced level in terms of drone technology, naval power, and the formation and development of ground forces, producing the necessary requirements.
He explained that without building and developing military and security capabilities to deter the enemy, no other achievements can be safeguarded, adding that building military and security capacities is to protect any gains and any economic structure and, above all, to protect the country from occupation.
Sayyed al-Houthi noted that the US had sought to maintain control over Yemen's military capabilities, aiming to keep them within limited bounds, ensuring no threat or obstacle to its dominance.
On Hezbollah's support front, Israeli attacks on Lebanon
Regarding the Israeli attacks on Lebanon, the Ansar Allah leader pointed out that "Israel's" crimes there were with an intent to target civilians on a large scale and perpetrate acts of genocide against thousands of Lebanese people.
He indicated that "Israelメs" booby-trapping of devices was aimed at "maximizing casualties with all impudence, boldness, and aggressive intent."
Sayyed al-Houthi said the aggressive approach of the brutal and savage Israeli enemy proves every day and with every crime that it is an enemy with whom there is no solution except to get rid of it.
"Israel" remains a serious threat to human societies at large, and action must be taken to confront this enemy, he said.
Failure to do so endangers everyone, according to the Yemeni leader, given the level of violence, aggression, and criminality displayed.
He described "Israel's" targeting of Hezbollah commanders and fighters, along with civilians, as an "escalatory step and a criminal and brutal aggression."
According to Sayyed al-Houthi, Hezbollah and the Lebanese front's role in supporting the Palestinian people and their Resistance fighters in Gaza is great, important, and impactful.
He explained that the enemy could not ignore the role and influence of the Hezbollah front, which is dealing blows to "Israel" every day in the north of occupied Palestine.
The Yemeni leader highlighted that Hezbollah’s operations have contributed to the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of settlers from settlements in northern Palestine.
Hezbollah remains steadfast in its support for the Palestinian people, the Gaza Strip, and the Resistance fighters there, Sayyed al-Houthi indicated, stressing that no matter the scale of Israeli aggression, it will not deter Hezbollah and will not force it to back down.
He mentioned that the steadfastness of Hezbollah's position is explicit in the speeches of its Secretary-General, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
The Yemeni leader recalled that, historically, "Israel" has only been forced out of Lebanese territories it occupied through Jihad and resistance, affirming that Hezbollah's pivotal and influential role will bear fruit despite Israeli aggression.
Sayyed al-Houthi vowed that despite "Israel's" crimes and its ruthless tactics, it will not achieve its objectives—whether in Palestine, Lebanon, or elsewhere.
He affirmed that the battles fought by Hezbollah, Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and other factions are unified in their resistance against a common enemy, "Israel" and its allies.
According to the Ansar Allah leader, what the Resistance fighters in Lebanon, Palestine, and elsewhere in the Ummah believe in is the inevitability of the demise of the Israeli enemy and that it is a temporary entity.

UAE hides weapons behind aid to fuel conflict in Sudan: NYT
Human Rights Watch has found evidence of Emirati-supplied weaponry on the battlefield, including Serbian-made missiles fired from an unidentified drone initially delivered to the UAE.
The United Arab Emirates is escalating a clandestine operation under the guise of the Red Crescent to funnel money, weapons, and, now, powerful drones to combatants raging throughout the nation, according to authorities, internal diplomatic cables, and satellite pictures obtained by The New York Times.
Aid agencies report that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a paramilitary force fighting Sudan's military, has attacked hospitals, plundered food supplies, and set fire to thousands of houses.
The drones, however, are flying from a location where the UAE claims to be organizing a humanitarian mission for the Sudanese people as part of its "urgent priority" to save innocent lives and prevent hunger in the war.
According to authorities, the Emirates is playing the greatest and most crucial role in Sudan's conflict, openly promising to alleviate suffering while secretly inflaming it.
For more than a year, the Emirates has been covertly supporting the Rapid Support Forces, and a NYT investigation last year into Emirati weapons smuggling program was corroborated by UN inspectors in January, who highlighted "credible" evidence that the Emirates was violating a two-decade UN arms ban in Sudan.
An airstrip in Chad has been upgraded by the Emirates into a military-style airfield launching a powerful Chinese-made drone, the Wing Loong.
According to photographs, a Wing Loong ground control station lies alongside the runway, which is just around 750 yards from an Emirati-run hospital that has treated wounded RSF forces.
According to authorities, the drones are now providing surveillance and identifying targets on chaotic battlefields in Sudan, rather than performing their own attacks.
Experts and officials believe that after taking flight from the facility, the drones may be remotely flown from Emirati land. They were recently seen patrolling the skies over the besieged Sudanese city of El Fasher, where residents are hungry and surrounded by the RSF.
Two American officials with knowledge of the conversation divulged that when Kamala Harris confronted Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in December, the country's leader said he owed the paramilitary group's head, Lt. Gen. Mohammed Hamdan, for deploying forces to fight alongside the Emirates in the war on Yemen.
One American official told the NYT that the Gulf state "cant lie to us anymore, because they know that we know."
he NYT notes that the Emirates' actions appear to be part of a larger expansion into Africa. According to experts, it unveiled $45 billion in investments throughout the continent last year, and in 2021, it reversed the course of Ethiopia's civil war by sending armed drones to the Prime Minister at a critical juncture in the conflict, ultimately assisting him to victory. Now it looks to be attempting to replicate the accomplishment in Sudan with the RSF.
Last year, the UAE claimed to be establishing a field hospital for Sudanese refugees at the Amdjarass airport in Chad. However, it was soon revealed that the $20 million facility was actually treating RSF fighters, with cargo planes also delivering weapons smuggled into Sudan. Satellite imagery and flight records indicated that the UAE had set up a drone system simultaneously while promoting its humanitarian efforts.
Human Rights Watch has found evidence of Emirati-supplied weaponry on the battlefield, including Serbian-made missiles fired from an unidentified drone that were initially delivered to the UAE. "It's very clear — the U.A.E. is sending money, the U.A.E. is sending weapons," said former Chadian Prime Minister Succès Masra.
Despite objections from Western authorities, Masra advised Chad's President, Mahamat Idriss Déby, that allowing the UAE to transport weapons through the country was a "huge mistake", but the situation remained unaltered. Furthermore, an Emirati private plane recently flew Hamdan, on a tour of six African nations, where he was treated like a president.
The US Treasury has sanctioned an RSF "front company" and is investigating seven Emirati firms for potential ties to the paramilitary group. General Hamdan’s brother, Algoney Hamdan, who has lived in Dubai since 2014 and is under US sanctions, has dismissed the sanctions and called claims the Emirates supports the group "false propaganda".
The Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent is gravely worried about the Emirati activity in Chad, having learned only through press reports that the Emirates Red Crescent had erected a hospital in Amdjarass. Tommaso Della Longa, a Red Cross spokesman, stated that the Emirati organization failed to notify the international federation, which is a breach of procedure.
The Emiratis marketed their efforts by displaying staff treating patients wearing the Red Crescent insignia, which is legally protected. The Red Cross, concerned about its impartiality, dispatched fact-finding teams to Chad in 2023 and 2024 but received few responses. Their representatives were kept away from the Emirati hospital for "security reasons".
Jeremy Konyndyk, president of Refugees International executive, stated that it was "unheard-of" for an aid group to prevent its officials from visiting a hospital that allegedly helps refugees.
In June, Emirati authorities stated that they had treated approximately 30,000 patients and were planning to expand the hospital, despite residents reporting its very short opening hours each day.
Following Macklemore's cancelation of a Dubai gig due to the Emirates' activities in Sudan, US Ambassador Tom Perriello urged a boycott of the UAE. Emirati authorities reacted angrily, with Perriello saying, "I sure didn't have Macklemore as a hero for Sudan on my bingo card."
Some US officials believed Perriello had gone too far, emphasizing the challenges of attacking the Emirates, a crucial partner of the US in numerous global issues. The Emirates has always ignored foreign criticism, but it is becoming increasingly sensitive to blowback over Sudan. According to a February European Union report, the Emiratis would be "more concerned about any damage to their reputation rather than any sense of moral culpability."
During a visit to a hospital in Chad, Emirati Minister Lana Nusseibeh was approached by a Sudanese refugee who said, "You know very well that you ignited this war!" The man escaped Sudan due to RSF brutality and expressed his rage at the official.
