Israel and the US Plan to Destroy Palestine and the Arab Leaders Just Waiting for the End Game

Dr. Mahboob A. Khawaja, PhD.

Monsters of History Defy Truth, Justice and Humanitarian Values

The Israeli-American fraudulent scenario of a ceasefire ended at Cairo without any agreeable outcome. There was nothing new but to kill the time and opportunities for the return of normalcy and humanitarian necessities to have allowed the people of Gaza to breathe oxygen while the bombing and killing of civilians continues unabated. The so-called Arab leaders – the authoritarian “puppets” of the US never had the capacity to think outside the decadent box and question the Master about this stigma of war and its ultimate purposes to dominate the Arab world. The US and Israel are moving around all quagmires and forging it to ensure continued killing of the people of Gaza under false pretext of terrorism and allowing new settlements by settlers to strengthen Israeli command over the West Bank and to put a finished answer to Palestine freedom movement. All monsters of history claimed good intentions and righteous ambitions but inflicted horrors, deaths and destruction on fellow human beings to achieve individualistic ambitions of power and glory. The US Congress bestowed undue political honor to PM Netanyahu who is alleged by the ICC -ICJ to have committed crimes against humanity and genocide across Gaza. Does the US Congress have a manifesto of human moral and political values?

Philip Giraldi (War Criminal Benjamin Netanyahu Addresses the US Congress” Global Research: 7/26/24), Executive Director of the Council for the National Interest explains:  “Benjamin Netanyahu’s presentation in the House Chamber today was by far the worst presentation of any foreign dignitary invited and honored with the privilege of addressing the Congress of the United States.......Netanyahu cliams ‘Hamas raped women and burnt babies alive’ but Dr. Giraldi views it a false propaganda stunt to win the US support for continued war against Palestinian people and clarifies:

The reality is, of course, it is the Jews who are killing Palestinians in large numbers using American supplied weapons. The highly respectable British medical journal The Lancet estimates that Israel has already killed more than 186,000 Palestinians since last October most of whom are still buried under the rubble of their homes, but for Netanyahu only Jewish lives matter. And the unrelenting savagery of the Israeli soldiers has also been confirmed by multiple independent sources. Bibi would also do well to read the new Knesset law passed last week that completely rejects the idea of a unilaterally declared sovereign Palestinian state side-by-side with Israel, confirming that Israel’s intentions do not include living at peace with its neighbors. https://www.globalresearch.ca/war-criminal-netanyahu-us-congress/5863708

Israel and America will not Stop at Gaza and Arab Leaders are Just Waiting for the Unknown

Gaza and West Bank are obliterated by Israeli insanity over ten months of continued war and bombardments of civilian infrastructures. The Arab-Muslim leaders had no mind, wisdom and courage to challenge Israel for its planned onslaught of Palestinian masses. They profess friendship with Netanyahu against Israeli animosity. The Arab leaders appear morally, intellectually and politically bankrupt as a scum floating on a torrent of naive puppets and discredited leaders. The American-Israeli collaborative war on Gaza and its immediate consequences made the Western world and all of its institutions shamefully redundant and void in the 21stcentury global norms of civility, human rights, freedom, justice and safety of civilians- whereas crimes against humanity are captured in obscure impulses and indecision and deliberate inaction by the UN Security Council. If Israel is not stopped, soon the leading oil exporting Arab states could fly Israeli-American flags for a change. Please see: “Israel Lost the War and America Betrayed Humanity in Gaza.” https://www.uncommonthought.com/mtblog/archives/2024/05/15/israel-lost-the-war-and-america-betrayed-humanity-in-gaza.php

Those Bombing the Earth are the Enemies of Humanity and Peace

Israel so far, has dropped more than 70,000 ton of bombs on Gaza- more insane than what happened at Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War 2. Perhaps, the Israeli and American leaders do not believe in life and death and accountability to God for all of their actions. The Torah and Bible fully reflect on this core human responsibility and punishment to those who violate the Divine Covenants. The Earth is not a property of the US or Israel but a  Divine hub of human Life, Survival and a Trust, Those Bombing and Destroying it are mentally sick and defy the Divine Truth. It looks as if the US and Israeli leaders do not believe in life and death and accountability. The earth is living and spins at 1670 km per hour and orbits the Sun at 107,000 km per hour. Imagine, if this spinning fails, what consequences could occur to the living beings on Earth. Think again, about the average distance of earth from moon is 93 million miles -the distance of Moon from Earth is currently 384,821 km equivalent to 0.002572 Astronomical Units. Earth is a “trust” to mankind for its existence, sustenance of life, survival, progress and future-making. The Earth exists and floats without any pillars in a capsule by the Will of God, so, ”Fear God Who created life and death.” Is human intelligence still intact to understand this reality? Wherever there is trust, there is accountability. All human beings are accountable for their actions. The Divine warning (Chapter 7: 56: The Quran), warns: Do no mischief on the Earth after it hath been set in order, but call on God with fear and longing in hearts; For the Mercy of God is always near to those who do good. (44:38-39).The Divine Message (Quran:40:64), clarifies:

It is God Who made for you the Earth as a resting place and the sky as a canopy; And has given you shape and made your shapes beautiful, And has provided for your Sustenance, of things pure and good; Such is God your Lord. So Glory to God, The Lord of the Worlds.

And killing of innocent people is prohibited in the Ten Commandments (Torah):

'Thou shalt not kill' (Exod. 20:13; also Deut. 5:17). Jewish law views the shedding of innocent blood very seriously, and lists murder as one of three sins (along with idolatry and sexual immorality), that fall under the category of yehareg ve'al ya'avor - meaning "One should let himself be killed rather than violate it.

“Phase One of Israel’s genocidal campaign on Gaza has ended. Phase Two has begun. It will result in even higher levels of death and destruction” reports Chris Hedges.

Chris Hedges “Israel Reopens the Gaza Slaughterhouse.” Chris Hedges Report: 12/05/23:

This is not a war against Hamas. It is a war against Palestinians.

Israeli strikes are generated at a dizzying rate, many of them from a system called “Habsora” — The Gospel — which is built on artificial intelligence that selects 100 targets a day. The AI-system is described by seven current and former Israeli intelligence officials in an article by Yuval Abraham on the Israeli sites +972 Magazine and Local Call, as facilitating a “mass assassination factory.” Israel, once it locates what it assumes to be a Hamas operative from a cell phone, for example, bombs and shells a wide area around the target, killing and wounding tens, and at times hundreds of Palestinians, the article states.

Massive Israeli military ops across West Bank kill 10 Palestinians

Israel killed at least 10 Palestinians on Wednesday when it launched large-scale military operations across the occupied West Bank.

Two Palestinians were killed in the city of Jenin, four others in a nearby village and four more in a refugee camp near the town of Tubas, said the Red Crescent's Ahmed Jibril. He added that 15 others had been wounded.

The Palestinian Health Ministry also confirmed that seven people were killed early Wednesday in Tubas and another two in Jenin. The ministry identified the two killed in Jenin as Qassam Jabarin, 25, and Asem Balout, 39.

Palestinian resistance groups, meanwhile, said they were exchanging fire with the Israeli military. The governor of Jenin, Kamal Abu al-Rub, said on Palestinian radio that Israeli forces had surrounded the city, blocking exit and entry points and access to hospitals, and ripping up infrastructure in the camp.

Israeli military spokesperson Lt. Col. Nadav Shoshani said "large forces" had entered Jenin, as well as Tulkarem and the al-Faraa refugee camp dating back to the 1948 Mideast war, all in the northern West Bank.

He claimed the nine dead were all fighters, including three killed in an airstrike in Tulkarem and four in an airstrike in al-Faraa. He said another five suspects were arrested and that the raids were the first stage of an even larger operation.

The operation comes two days after Israel said it carried out an airstrike on the West Bank that the Palestinian Authority reported killed five people.

The Palestinian Health Ministry in the West Bank said Israeli forces had blocked the roads leading to a hospital with dirt barriers and surrounded other medical facilities in Jenin. Shoshani said the military was trying to prevent armed resistance members from taking shelter in hospitals.

An Associated Press reporter saw army vehicles blocking all the entrances to al-Faraa camp. Military jeeps and bulldozers entered the camp and soldiers were seen patrolling its alleyways by foot. Water leaked onto the damaged streets from houses where fighting had damaged tanks and pipes. Shots rang out every few minutes.

Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz drew comparisons with Gaza and called for similar measures in the West Bank.

"We must deal with the threat just as we deal with the terrorist infrastructure in Gaza, including the temporary evacuation of Palestinian residents and whatever steps might be required. This is a war in every respect, and we must win it," he wrote on the platform X.

Shoshani said there was no plan to evacuate civilians.

Hamas called on Palestinians in the West Bank to rise up, calling the raids part of a larger plan to expand the war in Gaza and blaming the escalation on U.S. support for Israel. The militant group called on security forces loyal to the Western-backed Palestinian Authority, which co-operates with Israel, to "join the sacred battle of our people."

Nabil Abu Rudeineh, a spokesman for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, condemned the raids as a "serious escalation" and called on the United States to intervene. Abbas later announced he was cutting short a visit to Saudi Arabia and returning to the West Bank, where his government is based.

Israel has carried out near-daily raids across the West Bank since the Oct. 7 Hamas incursion triggered Tel Aviv's genocidal war there.

At least 652 Palestinians in the West Bank have been killed by Israeli fire since, according to the Palestinian Health Ministry. Most have died during such raids.

Tel Aviv says the operations are required to dismantle Hamas and other resistance groups and to prevent attacks on Israelis, which have also risen since the start of the war.

Israel captured the West Bank, Gaza and east Jerusalem in the 1967 Mideast war. The Palestinians want all three for a future state.

Israel has built scores of illegal settlements across the West Bank, which are home to over 500,000 Jewish settlers.

They have Israeli citizenship, while the 3 million Palestinians in the West Bank live under Israeli military rule, with the Palestinian Authority exercising limited control over population centers.

Gaza violence continues

Meanwhile, Israeli strikes in Gaza overnight and into Wednesday killed at least 24 people, including five women and five children, according to Palestinian health officials. AP reporters at two hospitals confirmed the toll.

One strike hit tents housing displaced people near the central town of Deir al-Balah, killing eight including two brothers, 6 and 17 years old.

Israel claims it tries to avoid harming civilians and blames their deaths on Hamas because its alleges members fight in dense residential areas.

The U.S., Qatar and Egypt have spent months trying to mediate a cease-fire that would see the remaining hostages released. But the talks have repeatedly bogged down as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed "total victory" over Hamas and the resistance group has demanded a lasting cease-fire and a full withdrawal from the territory.

There was no sign of a breakthrough after days of talks in Egypt, and the negotiations move to Qatar this week.

Israel's army claims to free Bedouin man held hostage in Gaza

The Israeli military claimed Tuesday that it rescued a man held hostage by Hamas in the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, as conflicting narratives emerged about the man's release.

A military statement said the army carried out a joint "complex operation" with the Shin Bet domestic security service to free the hostage from the southern Gaza Strip.

It identified him as Farhan al-Qadi, 52, from a Bedouin community near the southern city of Rahat, saying his health condition was good, but he was taken to the hospital for a check-up.

However, conflicting accounts have emerged regarding the circumstances surrounding the freeing of Al-Qadi.

One account presented by Israeli media suggests that Al-Qadi managed to escape from his captors before being rescued by the military, which contradicts the official narrative from the army.

The Israeli daily Haaretz reported that he "was found on Tuesday in a tunnel in southern Gaza and was subsequently rescued by the Israeli army.”

Meanwhile, Israeli Army Radio said that Al-Qadi was rescued from one of the tunnels in southern Gaza and he did not escape captivity as rumors suggested.

According to Israeli Channel 14, al-Qadi was found by the army alone inside an underground tunnel in Rafah in southern Gaza.

According to Israeli figures, at least 108 Israelis remain held in Gaza, including at least 36 dead.

Israel has continued its brutal offensive on the Gaza Strip following an attack by the Palestinian group Hamas last Oct. 7, despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire.

The onslaught has resulted in nearly 40,500 Palestinian deaths, mostly women and children, and over 93,600 injuries, according to local health authorities.

An ongoing blockade of Gaza has led to severe shortages of food, clean water and medicine, leaving much of the region in ruins.

Israel faces accusations of genocide at the International Court of Justice, which has ordered a halt to military operations in the southern city of Rafah, where over one million Palestinians had sought refuge before the area was invaded on May 6.

UN forced to suspend food distribution as Israel places 89 percent of Gaza under evacuation orders

Andre Damon

In the latest stage of the US-Israeli genocide and ethnic cleansing of Gaza, Israeli officials ordered the evacuation of parts of the city of Deir al-Balah, cramming the displaced and starving population of Gaza into an ever-smaller portion of the territory.

Gaza’s population, which stood at over 2 million before the start of the genocide, is now crammed into an area that is just 41 square kilometers, or 11 percent of Gaza’s total area, with the remaining 89 percent being placed on evacuation orders by the Israeli Defense Forces.

The United Nations warned, “The area is lacking critical infrastructure and basic services, while aid provision is limited due to access and security issues. The severe overcrowding, with a density of 30,000 to 34,000 individuals per square kilometer has exacerbated the dire shortage of essential resources such as water, sanitation and hygiene supplies, health services, protection and shelter.”

As a result of the latest ethnic cleansing measure, announced over the weekend, the United Nations announced that it was suspending its food distribution efforts for a second time, after UN staff were forcibly expelled from the city of Rafah during the earlier military operations there.

“Where do we move now? ... The space to operate is being restricted more and more than ever,” a UN official told Reuters on Monday. “As of this morning, we’re not operating in Gaza” to deliver food and medical care because “we’re unable to deliver today with the conditions that we’re in.”

Gilles Michaud, the UN’s undersecretary-general for safety and security, added, “Mass evacuation orders are the latest in a long list of unbearable threats to UN and humanitarian personnel.” He said Israeli officials “gave just a few hours’ notice to move more than 200 UN personnel out of their offices and living places in Deir el-Balah, a crucial humanitarian hub.”

Louise Wateridge, senior communications officer at UNRWA, told Al Jazeera, “It is nothing short of a struggle to provide what people need here because we don’t have enough aid. We don’t have enough supplies coming in; we don’t have enough access to distribute to people.”

She added, “There are so many people dying in Gaza from things that can be treated, people can be saved, but we do not have the means to do this for them. We do not have the means to operate to our best ability.”

Between August 23 and 26, 170 Palestinians in Gaza were killed and 390 were injured, amid non-stop bombing and ground offensives throughout the entirety of the Gaza Strip, according to the Ministry of Health. According to official statistics, 40,435 Palestinians were killed and 93,534 were injured since October last year. But this figure does not include 10,000 people thought to be killed and buried under the rubble.

According to the official figures, the death toll includes 17,000 children, meaning that 2.6 percent of all of Gaza’s children have been killed, with an average of 53 children killed every day since October 7.

Once the victims of Israel’s deliberate famine and promotion of disease are added, the real death toll could be 186,000 or more, according to an estimate published in the Lancet medical journal.

The latest ethnic cleansing operation in Deir al-Balah means yet another displacement for the Palestinians sheltering there.

Reuters interviewed one woman who said she and her children had been displaced 11 times. “I left half of my children behind me near my furniture and I am now with my little ones and my daughter. Only God can help us ... I have no money for transportation, I will go to area 17, where my family is staying, on my feet. I took my kids and three are left behind. No idea where.”

Hundreds of thousands of people had sought refuge near Al-Aqsa Hospital, the main medical facility still in operation in central Gaza, and are now being displaced once again.

The hospital is in an area covered by the latest evacuation order, forcing those seeking shelter there to flee. “Our fate is to die,” one woman fleeing the hospital told the Associated Press. “There is no place for us to go. There is no safe place.”

Doctors Without Borders said in a statement that a bombing near the hospital was forcing it to consider suspending medical care there. “As a result, MSF is considering whether to suspend wound care for the time being, while trying to maintain life-saving treatment,” the charity said.

Israel intensified its bombardment of Deir el-Balah Tuesday, with at least 40 Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip.

“A missile by an F-16 came down on the area and destroyed the whole place—we can’t get the victims out of here. There are still lots of people in there, this house was full,” one resident told Al Jazeera.

Another resident added, “We are looking for a safe place, and truly there is no safe place in the entire Gaza Strip.”

Al Jazeera journalist Tareq Abu Azzoum, reporting from Deir el-Balah, added, “Israeli evacuation orders are making families desperate, as they look for somewhere to sleep. Soon, they’ll have another challenge: getting water. With 70 percent of desalination plants and water wells in Gaza located inside evacuation areas, they’ve been cut off from their main sources. Some Palestinians are even considering going back, at the risk of getting killed.”

According to the World Food Program, 96 percent of Gaza’s population face acute food insecurity, and nine out of 10 have spent 24 hours or more without food.

At least 50,000 children in Gaza require treatment for acute malnutrition, while more than 96 percent of infants from 6 to 23 months are not meeting their basic nutritional requirements.

Amid Israel’s protracted war on health care facilities, infectious disease is running rampant. In a statement, Human Rights Watch warned that Israel’s actions are leading to an outbreak of polio.

“If the Israeli government continues to block urgent aid and destroy water and waste management infrastructure, it will facilitate the spread of a disease that has been nearly eradicated globally,” said Julia Bleckner, a spokesperson for the organization. “Israel’s partners should press the government to lift the blockade immediately and ensure unfettered humanitarian access in Gaza to enable the timely distribution of vaccines to contain the unfolding polio outbreak,” she added.

7 years of Rohingya crisis: International community must be serious in the crisis resolution

The Rohingya crisis has lasted for seven years, and there still seems to be no sign of an end in sight. More than a million Rohingya people in Myanmar crossed the border to seek refuge in Bangladesh in 2017 as a result of systematic ethnic cleansing operations carried out by their government, which the world appears to be allowing to continue apace. This represents one of the worst cases of human rights violations in recorded history. The violent crackdown by the Myanmar government in 2017 also led to 9,000 fatalities and widespread destruction.

By Ozair Islam

As the major Rohingya refugee crisis has been over for seven years, there is yet another call for continued support from international partners to help protect the nearly one million Rohingya who are being hosted by Bangladesh and to assist in finding answers for a long-term solution to their predicament. Since the 1970s, the Rohingya, an ethnic group in Myanmar, have been the target of persistent persecution.Map_of_Rohingya_people_in_Rakhine_State

The military takeover in Myanmar in 2021 made matters worse for the Rohingya and made them even more vulnerable. The Rohingya people’s situation was made worse by the military led junta government and the Arakan Army’s persistent targeting of them. Over 100,000 Rohingya are refugees in Malaysia as of July 2024; thousands more are in Indonesia, Thailand, and Bangladesh; the situation is still grave. The incapacity of the international community to take swift action at the height of the genocide in 2017 was one of its most obvious failings. One of the most damning criticisms of the international response to the Rohingya crisis is the lack of emergency intake, repatriation, or resettlement programs during that crucial period. The Rohingya issue has developed into a potent illustration of what happens when persecution is sustained and organized over time. The Rohingya community has endured unspeakable suffering in  Myanmar. In order to repatriate the Rohingya, Bangladesh and Myanmar started bilateral negotiations in 2017. Nobody has been able to repatriate a single Rohingya to Myanmar despite multiple attempts.

The UNSC and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), among other regional organizations, as well as nations like China, India, the United States, and the United Kingdom, have all sadly underperformed in their response. Long-term solutions have been noticeably lacking, even in the case of emergency assistance. Many Rohingyas find themselves in a precarious situation, unable to rebuild their lives or seamlessly integrate into their host communities, due to the absence of creative resettlement programs and socio-economic inclusion initiatives.

They still have to deal with difficult living circumstances and uncertain futures. Bangladesh’s Interim Government’s Chief Advisor, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, has appropriately called on the international community to show solidarity by providing steady financial support and working to guarantee their “eventual repatriation to Myanmar, with safety, dignity, and full rights.”. “During a period of transition for the Bangladeshi people, Bangladesh’s humanitarian spirit deserves recognition on a global scale.

To address the Rohingya issue, numerous nations and international organizations need to take different actions. Former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon chastised the Burmese government for their lack of urgency in repatriating the displaced Rohingya. The ongoing Rohingya crisis has deeply concerned UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres. According to Yanghili, Myanmar’s UN Special Envoy for Human Rights, every major nation in the world has a role to play in resolving the Rohingya crisis. A resolution denouncing the violations of human rights committed by the Myanmar government against the Rohingya Muslim community and other religious minorities was approved by the UN on December 27, 2019. The resolution passed by the UN General Assembly demanded that Myanmar desist from inciting hatred toward the Rohingya and other minority groups. But rather than relying solely on leap service, the international community needs to take a proactive approach. Reentry into Myanmar in a respectable and sustainable manner is still the main way out of this mess. We demand that the world community show the political will necessary to make this happen. The most crucial subject in the wake of the Rohingya crisis is voluntary repatriation. The voluntary return of refugees is essential to finding a long-term solution to the refugee crisis. For the Rohingya refugees to be able to return in safety, dignity, and sustainability, the international community must play a critical role.

The security situation in the Rohingya refugees’ places of origin needs to be ensured before they will think about going back to Myanmar. The monitoring and facilitation of this aspect are greatly aided by the international community, particularly by UN agencies and neighboring countries. In the absence of sufficient security, voluntary repatriation is still only a pipe dream. It is imperative to guarantee the Rohingya that they will be granted equal rights and privileges with other citizens of Myanmar upon their return. It is past time for the international community to put pressure on the government of Myanmar to pass laws giving the Rohingya community full citizenship and equal rights. In order to guarantee that the repatriation process includes reparations, compensation, aid and acknowledgment of the atrocities committed, the international community must play a proactive pragmatic role. For years, the international community as a whole has failed to play a part in enabling the Rohingya to return to their own country. It is time they took action in order to ensure honorable and long-lasting solution.

Regarding relations with Myanmar, China and India need to set aside their limited strategic interests. The Rohingya issue is not just Bangladesh’s; it is also a potential regional spillover issue that requires the attention of China, India, neighboring countries, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and international organizations. Given that it affects the entire world, a prompt solution is required. They must keep offering all assistance in their power to find a long-term, peaceful solution to the Rohingya problem. They must exert pressure on the Myanmar government by acting openly and sincerely to facilitate the Rohingyas’ safe return to Rakhine State and by taking the required actions in accordance with international and human rights law to end the Rohingya conflict. Their positive role in Rohingya repatriation is crucial, in addition to their financial aid. Focus needs to be placed on finding a suitable and long-term solution to the Rohingya problem.

The international community started working on the Rohingya issue in a number of ways over the past seven years. Bangladesh’s accomplishment in resolving this issue has enabled it to garner the interest of the international community. However, other global crises caused the international community’s attention to shift, and the Rohingya situation was no longer as important. However, the international community must also recognize that this is a severe issue.

The international community claims that Rohingyas are refusing to return because Myanmar has not established an environment in Rakhine state that would facilitate their return. The Rohingya believe that if they went back to Myanmar, they would be subjected to military persecution once more unless they were guaranteed citizenship, ethnic identity, land rights, and justice for the genocide.

The international community must keep applying pressure on Myanmar in order to foster the conditions necessary for this. Bangladesh is working to find a solution to this issue in tandem with global public opinion. The international community’s astute choice and vision have made it possible for this concerted effort to exert pressure on Myanmar regarding the Rohingya issue. This was a challenge for a country struggling with its own economic and development issues, but one we took on because it was the right thing to do. Although foreign assistance was guaranteed from the beginning, in recent years it has only been a trickle.

Recently, South Korea, a nation that has continuously assisted Bangladesh in accommodating the Rohingya since the beginning, declared its intention to donate $10 million in humanitarian aid for the displaced people. Right now, Bangladesh requires more of this. It is now quite evident that Bangladesh should continue to host the refugees in this situation, even though there are still very few chances for the Rohingya to return home safely and securely due to Myanmar’s lack of cooperation. But the only way this is going to happen is if the international community makes a renewed commitment to providing more funding and assistance. More nations need to follow South Korea’s example and take action, as they have already demonstrated their ability to support their statements with deeds. But the final goal must be the Rohingya repatriation and on the 7 years of the Rohingya crisis, the international community must be proactively serious in the crisis resolution through the repatriation of Rohingyas to Myanmar.
